Welcome to Shopovix ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when this ecommerce platform is used as a limited portfolio and demonstration project.
Shopovix is currently being maintained as a portfolio and demonstration project rather than as a publicly available SaaS platform.
Public account registration is currently unavailable. Access is provided only through credentials supplied directly by the platform owner for demonstration, testing, evaluation, or an approved merchant deployment.
At the current stage, the deployment may contain two types of accounts:

Not every type of information listed above is necessarily collected from every user. The information handled depends on the features used by the merchant, customers, and demo users.
A merchant using the platform may receive information from customers through their ecommerce store, including information required to create customer accounts, process orders, fulfil purchases, provide support, and communicate order updates.
The merchant is responsible for the products and services they offer and for determining how customer information is used for their business operations.
The platform provides the technical infrastructure required to operate the store and may process or store information on behalf of the merchant as necessary to provide those functions.

The platform is not currently operating a public subscription service, and paid platform upgrades are currently disabled.
Information required to operate this deployment may be processed or stored using third-party infrastructure providers.
Third-party providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
The platform may send transactional notifications such as order updates, account-related messages, and other service communications.
Where a merchant provides an email service or configuration for their store, that configuration may be used to send messages relating to that merchant's store.
Email credentials or authentication information, where technically required, should be handled using appropriate security controls and should only be used for the configured email service.
Paid platform subscriptions and plan upgrades are currently disabled.
Razorpay test mode may be enabled for demonstration or testing of ecommerce payment functionality. Test-mode transactions do not represent live platform subscription payments.
Where third-party payment processing is used by a merchant, payment information may be processed directly by the applicable payment provider according to its own policies and terms.
The platform may use cookies, local storage, sessions, and similar technologies where necessary for functionality such as authentication, shopping carts, preferences, security, and store operation.
Technical information such as IP address, browser information, device information, and server logs may also be processed for security, troubleshooting, and operational purposes where applicable.
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse.
However, no internet-based service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the store, provide the approved demonstration or testing access, maintain security, resolve disputes, troubleshoot technical issues, or satisfy applicable legal and operational requirements.
When information is no longer required, it may be deleted or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable requirements and operational needs.
Merchants are responsible for the information they collect through their stores and for providing customers with any business-specific privacy, refund, shipping, cancellation, or other policies required for their operations.
Merchants should only collect and use customer information in ways that are appropriate for their business and applicable requirements.
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances of the request, individuals may have rights relating to their personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, or otherwise manage their information.
